It was 1945 when my family first started shipping gifts of fruit for winter visitors in West Palm Beach...people who wanted to remember friends and business associates "back home". They came into the store with their gift lists that included someone who needed a "little something extra". When they did, Dad would add a jar of fancy preserves or a box of candy. The practice got so popular, we’ve continued it all these years.
So, if you’ve got a special person on your list who deserves something extra, just tell us. Tucked in with their fruit will be 10 oz. jars of HoneyBell Marmalade and fine Strawberry Preserves, along with our version of a 60-year favorite, Coconut Patties.
